He doesn't say a lot, he's a bit portly, but he can cook and fight! I loved the scene with him flying through the air in a barrel! Truly a formidable weapon.
 
The Hobbit 2: Bombur Speaks! (Hopefully)

To think with him having more to do in this next film (falling into the river in Mirkwood, and now samurai barrel action) he will at least get a few lines!
