First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
In fall of 1965 or maybe spring of 1966 I had heard of lotr and went to buy fotr. It was sold out at the Purdue bookstored so since the tt had a synopsis of fotr I started with that. This was of cource the ACE pirate edition. I still recommend that older folks start with TT.
