Dritz... [In reply to] Can't Post

...draws his blades only to find a Legolas shot arrow embedded in his brain after having used his eye socket as a door.

Driz's last reptile thoughts are that he should have been in a decent set of books and he might have stood a chance against the awsome Legolas.

Cheers

one dead dwarf [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm afraid I must agree with an earlier post. The dwarf would be dead before the battle ex was fully drawn.

Legolas, of course [In reply to] Can't Post

The real thing always beats a cheesy knock-off.

With caffeine, all things are possible.

The pity of Bilbo will screw up the fate of many.

Dritz... [In reply to] Can't Post

...was a Dark Elf (Drow). These are not Dark Elves in the sense of Middle-earth Dark Elves, i.e.: the Moriquendi who never saw the light of the Two Trees, or more specifically Eol, who was termed a Dark Elf. Drow are black skinned and white haired elves, with stupid amounts of magic (no REALLY, stupid amounts, which makes them as a race fairly stupid), and they lived far, far underground and rarely if ever come to the surface.

Forgetting the fact that a race that lived permanently underground would have skin so pale it would make an albino look colourful, the Drow were simply too disgustingly hard, with a native resistance to magic and weapons and armour made from a special radio-active like material (if I remember right) that mean they often wondered around with weapons and armour up to +5 (in AD&D terms this was HARD!).

Fortunately, none of this would help Dritz against the accurate and distance shot Legolas could deliver.

Dritz dies! Period.

Cheers

PS Dritz is a character from a trilogy of books set in the Forgotten Realms AD&D world. I got about two thirds of the way through book one and had to give it up for the sake of my sanity. Please no one mention that I missed the best bits and that it had hardly got going in book one. It's a weak argument and I wouldn't believe it either. Just about all (maybe not quite ALL, but a snear as damn it) the books based on RPG's ae seriously lacking. And I say this despite being an RPGer!
