You have a bunch of clones from Star Wars Ep. 2, therefore they are all equal in strength, speed, ability, etc. Each wields and has basic training in one of the following weapons, so it is the weapons and the weapons "POWER" that determines the victor. Setting is an open Arena with a hard dirt floor, No where to hide and no where to run to. They must all fight to the death. Who wins and why? - Aiglos
- Anduril
- Anglachel
- Angurial
- Glamdring
- Gurthang
- Narsil
- Orcrist
- Ringil
- Sting
Weapons are listed alphabetically to avoid any transferrence of my own opinions on the outcome of the battle. Cheers Padster

Really, Narsil was already a pretty sweet sword when it started out, but the re-make is incredible. Also, Anduril looks about 20 feet long in the movies!

Glamdring, Narsil, and Aiglos win, Sting loses

The reason the first three win is because they did the most damage in the books, and Sting loses because it is too short to beat the longer swords. Orcrist could win too, but I think the three I mentioned, Glamdring, Narsil, and Aiglos are the best.

winner would be Gurthang. It would win only in the hands of Turin though. Aiglos would come close, because being a polearm, it has a far reach. Then Ringil, but again only with Fingolfin. Lastly Glamdring, held by Gandalf of Turgon. A weapons power is only determined by the person wielding it in my opinion. Many of the weapons were forged specifically for its owner. BUT to answer your question....GURTHANG because...its...THE IRON OF DEATH! yay

I think sting was more of a knife to the Elves, but a sword to the Hobbits.

...the weapons are most powerful in the following order: - Gurthang - Anglachel / Angurial - Ringil - Aiglos - Anduril - Glamdring / Orcrist - Narsil - Sting I just wonder if Feanor had got his hands on Anglachel or Anguriel, whether or not he would have been able to survive his initial combat in Middle-earth....hmmmmmm..... But I'm posting, aren't I? Logic would dictate that Gurthang must win because it alone was forged from a unique substance - a metal that fell from heaven & could 'cleave iron'. Then, it was reforged with edges of fire. It even had feelings & mourned for Beleg....... Only swords forged in the Elder Days by Elves should even be considered as having a chance, as they had a special power & enchantment on them that had a powerful effect on orcs. This would eliminate Narsil, Anduril, Aiglos & possibly one or two of the others I don't recognize. Sting, what chance would that have as a short stabbing sword versus some of these 4 foot monsters? BTW: I don't recall Angurial. Who's was that?

I can't say too much as for the other swords, I'm bad with names. But it seems certain to me that Sting won't win. I live steel and in a group of equal skill the weapons do make the difference to an extent (luck being the rest), but out side of any "powers" Sting is like taking a dagger to a sword fight. The one sword who's name and atributes I can remember is Glamdring, and I know that it was the war sword of King Turgon II. One of my weapons that I use is a war sword and there's no getting too close to me when I use it. I have lost a fight with it, but the other person was using a spear, not a dagger. There are ways to make progress with a dagger in melee, but it involves alot of back stabbing and block rushing. But in a fight against 9 others, a person would get very worn down and the last person standing with a full length sword (hypotheticly assuming that Sting makes it that far, and that the other weapons are full length), then it's just a matter of the other person reaching out and touching some one. (Sorry that's a bad joke used by the members of my group that deals with a longsword).
