Sauron vs Terminator

And by Terminator, I mean anyone from that race of nearly indestructible cyborgs, not just the one played by Arnold. So Sauron and the Terminators have the ability to regenerate and are way more powerful than any human. Who gets the edge?

The Terminators can certainly make life uncomfortable for him, but they can't kill him because they can't destroy the Ring. Only the fires of Orodruin can unmake it. Unless one of the Terminators gets the bright idea to drop the Ring into the Cracks of Doom, Sauron will always come back.

If they figured out that the Ring had to be destroyed first and if there was more than one working together.

Three reasons: 1. T-X has the ability to take control of all machines. And the One Ring represents the machine. Therefore T-X is the only one who can control the One Ring other than Sauron. 2. T-X has the ability to corrupt the programming of all machines. Therefore even if T-X can't control the One Ring, it can corrupt its programming so it can't be used. 3. T-X can distract opponents by increasing bust size. Sauron cannot. QED, T-X wins.

Slightly scary yet unassailable logic there, Darkstone. /

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded b*****d with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. Sauron....really just to powerful for a machine. Easy one I think.
What's the matter, James? No glib remark? No pithy comeback?"

Terminator will shoot him and if that does not work just get some rocket launcher and booom. He has the one ring. Imagine of the Terminator had the ring.

Darkstone's third point is completely valid, however, Sauron is not what you'd call the lusty type. So that advantage is out. And the One Ring isn't a machine in the technological sense,, which is what the T-X has control over. Rather, it's a magical item. So Sauron all the way.
