Narsil vs Excalibur, choose your weapon.

In the Fire Swamp, you are confronted with angry, rabid R.O.U.S. (rodents of unusual size) attacking you from every angle. So which weapon do you choose? The one that some watery tart lobed at you, or the one that has been piecemealed together and looks by it’s length, that someone was overly compensating for something? Me, I’m hobbit size so, I’m going with the watery tart's sword.
May your beer be laid under an enchantment of surpassing excellence for seven years! ~~~~~~~~Gandalf~~~~~~~ Listen, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government!

...you could skewer an awful lot of rats on Narsil before having to clean them off.
My website http://www.dreamdeer.grailmedia.com offers fanfic, and message-boards regarding intentional community or faerie exploration.

*runs the other direction screaming* Seriously though, I'd have to choose Narsil. Even against ROUS, there isn't too much of a difference between Narsil and Excalibur. The fact is that Narsil was made by elves and that alone makes it pretty cool.

Full-sized Narsil would tip me over and the ROUS would get me quite easily. With it knife-sized, however, I'd have the day! :D

It's better in size for tight battle maneuvers. And I'm partial to the beloved sword.
Dagonet, Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where the Shdows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

in any of the books I've read. But in the film "Excalibur" it did once and was put back together my the Lady of the Lake.
I don't know why she loves me, but she says she does.
