Lestat VS Edward Can't Post

I think Lestat kicks Edward's sparkly butt from here to next Tuesday, but that's just me.

Here are the odds:
Edward, however sparkly, has proved to be a pretty good fighter. He killed a bunch of immature, barely-"existent" vampires, and Victoria- the crazy cat lady of the vampire world. He plays piano in his spare time, and has composed about two pieces.

Lestat has drank blood from Magnus, Marius, as well as Akasha- who happens to be Queen of the Damned. He can fly, is telekinetic, pyrokinetic, and has taken down Armand's coven about two times now. Lestat is a rock star, and frontman for his the rock band, The Vampire Lestat. He has composed and written at least five songs. He can play any instrument, including violin.

This isn't even fair. Gentlemen, ladies, place your bets.

I would rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not.

"The star that burns brightest burns half as long" but...

"it's better to burn than to fade away." Who is LeStat again?

Hmm... maybe you should read The Vampire Chronicles. [In reply to] Can't Post

Lestat the main character of Anne Rice's "The Vampire Chronicles", which were very good.
[Except for Queen of the Damned, I don't know what went wrong with that one]

Edward... its the sunshine thing again [In reply to] Can't Post

The Twilight vamps have it too easy... they can walk in the sun without being turned to cinders. It just outs them to everyone.

Lestat would be at a disadvantage from sun up to sundown... but if the battle took place after nightfall... Lestat would whip Edward easily.

Lestat could still take him, he'd just get a tan! [In reply to] Can't Post

Lestat walked into the Gobi desert and came back tanned.... he wouldn't have a problem. Wink

Lestat - anyday! [In reply to] Can't Post

You are correct - it isn't even a fair fight. Gotta love Lestat.

I must admit - I've never read the Twilight books - my daughter really didn't like them, so I didn't bother. Once, while ranting about the books, she told me that Edward is a vampire vegetarian who only kills animals - I just can't see a guy like that beating out my Lestat!

Cheers!
