Job leads Can't Post

So, I was searching for news on the Amazon series and came across a job posting:

Talent Acquisition Leader (Seattle)

Quote
Amazon Studios is a movie and series production company, developing and distributing award winning content such as 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel', 'The Big Sick' and soon, 'The Lord of the Rings'.

This job was posted on June 11, apparently. I thought it was interesting that they included "Lord of the Rings", and indicated that it would be developed and/or distributed "soon". Not that whoever wrote the job ad necessarily knows what's going on any more than we do. I searched specifically for "Lord of the Rings" on Amazon's jobs board, but curiously this is the only job I found that mentioned it. It doesn't even appear to be specifically related to the series, as the job involves hiring software developers in North America, so I'd say it probably has more to do with Prime Video than Amazon Studios.

A somewhat haphazard analysis of recent job postings led me to the following conclusions:
  • There appears to be no hiring for Amazon Studios in Scotland or New Zealand.
  • Most of the Amazon Studios jobs are in Santa Monica, California.
  • There are also quite a few Amazon Studios jobs in London, England.
  • There are some others elsewhere (e.g. Madrid and Milan), mostly for creating local content.
Of course, most of the local crew members don't necessarily need to be hired directly by Amazon Studios. I don't expect Amazon to put out ads for actors, extras, set builders, etc. through its jobs board. Still, I figured they might at least do some local hiring.

This job appears to be more applicable:

Sourcing Recruiter (London)

It appears to involve finding relevant job candidates through online searches. I'm not sure exactly what types of positions are to be found this way, but they should all be in Amazon Prime Video or Studios. It was posted on March 26 of this year.

Finally, from April 10, our nemesis:

Content Security Operations Manager (Santa Monica)

One of the responsibilities:

A position that ought to be filled [In reply to] Can't Post

I don't mind terribly either way. In fact, for a little while I half-seriously considered applying myself. Evil

But here's a position I think we can all agree ought to be filled:
