Getting back to a discussion of the show...what are your guesses as to the identity of Isildur's companion (played by Nia Towle)? https://redanianintelligence.com/2023/04/21/exclusive-photo-of-isildur-with-his-new-companion-in-rings-of-power-season-2/

... over att TORn's Discord channel and the LotR on Prime subreddit seems to be that this is Isildur's wife-to-be and Gondor's future queen. A minority is arguing that this can't be the case, as this would dilute the royal Númenorean bloodline at a too early stage, considering that she is most likely one of the surviving Southlanders, and as such most likely an early love interest before the real deal. I wouldn't mind her being his future wife, though. Nia Towle is a beautiful young actress and is most certainly capable of portraying the queen of Gondor in the seasons to come. There have been some really interesting leaks of late, but the quality of this photo is on a level we haven't really seen before. I hope FoF, Redanian Intelligence and the others keep'em coming (FoF seems to be releasing intel concerning Arondir in a near future).
Now now Bill, you swore this was a battle between warriors, not a bunch of miss nancies, so warriors is what I brought

Yeah, their mode of dress appears to strongly point to Isildur having 'gone native' amongst the Southlanders & his companion probably being a Southlander too. I'd guess that she could very easily be a future wife. As previously discussed [at length] on here, longer Numenorean lifespans [and hence I suppose 'ethnic purity'] are something that've been the subject of tantalising hints rather than anything concrete, which is slightly disconcerting given how central they are to the whole myth of the Fall.

He's got the look of Marton Csokas (Celeborn), there.

Compare and contrast. Clearly, surviving an erupting volcano and being separated from your kin ages you a bit.
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. To this day, there is only one scene in FOTR that takes me out of the movie. When we first meet Galadriel, standing beside her is...the villain from a silly Vin Diesel movie. I believe that Csokas as Celeborn was the one role in the film that was badly miscast.

He does moody and isolated well - including, believe it or not, goofy - but not ethereal and other-worldly.

Given the apparent existence of a mannish settlement struggling on in the ruins of Pelargir confirmed by spy photos, I wonder if she'll represent that community rather than the Southlanders.
