Obsurd I know, but in that shot when thranduil is telling her no to legolas, she is wearing a necklace which I thought looked similar to the evenstar. What did u all think of this?

I was going to bring up Tauriel's necklace if no one else did as I was wondering about it too. You really can't see much of it, but I personally thought it looked different from the evenstar. I wonder, what is it and why is Tauriel wearing it at that particular moment? Once I noticed it, I replayed the trailer and she does not have a necklace in any other scene that I can see. Hmmmm....
Hi, I'm new. I fell in love with the LOTR saga for the first time after getting and playing the LEGO LOTR video game for my birthday in May this year (2013). I'm currently reading the books. I'll think of a better signature eventually...

I was annoyed enough in my purist heyday that Arwen gave Aragorn the Evenstar instead of the Elfstone (Elessar, whatever the eagle with the emerald is called). The evenstar thing was supposed to go to Frodo, right? (At least, I've always called the jewel she gave him in the book the 'Evenstar'. I may be totally wrong there. Can anyone correct me?)
But to involve Tauriel in it? Please no. I'm prepared to like Tauriel (but not any sappy romance with her involved in it) but this would just be an annoyingly meaningless detail. 
... For that matter... I didn't even notice she was wearing a jewel. Off to go watch the trailer for the (no exaggeration) 9th time!
