When they find Threoded it appears what it looks like a piece of plastic bag ribboned in yellow and green. A bit out of place Anyone?

Peter Jackson said it was part of a sheep's bladder ribboned in yellow and green cloth, the dyes made from plants that might have been found in Middle-earth There's an hour directed to this detail in the extended editions, I think.

It is definitely fabric - you can see the frayed edge at the top. I think it is the remains of a Rohan flag or banner.

it looks like duct tape on a trash bag. What are we saying, PJ arranged it to symbolize the degradation of Rohan, with its brats rolling around on the floor with the dogs?

because it is soaking wet from the heavy rain that is falling in the scene. It's definitely fabric. I couldn't get a good screenshot, but if you go back and have a look at the scene yourself I'm sure you will be able to tell. And then you can stop thinking about plastic bags!

One can always count on Katy Perry in a moment like this.

I'm imagining this as a failed community-improvement project, with you and Midgey chasing the bag down the street.

I'm very embarrassed to say that I've never actually seen that one. I'm on pace to watch a new movie everyday this year, so I'll try to fit it into the queue.
