Whaylt happened to Azog's white warg? Can't Post

Did the production forget about him? We dont see him in botfa. Did they mention him in the appendices?

I wondered this too... [In reply to] Can't Post

I think it would have been cool if during the chariot chase and Azog is commanding everything he has against it to have sent his white warg out after it. Maybe it could have led the pack down the ice and could have been killed in that particularly gruesome way when that one gets smashed against the wall.

They didn't mention her in Appendices [In reply to] Can't Post

Azog seems to have a connection with her, so maybe he sent her away to be safe? I'd buy that. Though maybe seeing Dwalin fighting her off would've been cool Cool

And yes, she is a she, since she's named "The Matriarch," and is said to be the mother of many of the wargs in the AUJ pack in various text sources Tongue

Possibilities [In reply to] Can't Post

I like to think Fili killed that warg in the tunnels, right in front of Azog. And that got him mad...

Or maybe she found Azog's body on the ice and wouldn't leave his side, like those dogs that won't leave their fallen masters.

Or they just forgot to CGI her in somewhere.

Justice for Fili

Hanging out with the Gondorian army's horses, apparently. // [In reply to] Can't Post

Silverlode

Roads go ever ever on
Under cloud and under star
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have known.

White Warggy may have been killed somewhere in battle [In reply to] Can't Post

Hence the almost sorrowful/hurt look about Azog going into his final showdown, his Elvish remnant mornful for his trusty companion the White Warg, & all their years of joyful terrorising in roaming Middle Earth at an end Frown

Beorn [In reply to] Can't Post

When AUJ came out I predicted that the giant white warg was going to go up against Beorn in bear form in the BOFA. Sad to hear they seem to have just forgotten about the warg altogether.
