Trailer music Can't Post

I was thinking that we'd hear The Last Goodbye in the trailer, do you think that the piano at the beginning is part of that song? Is the trailer music just generic action trailer music or Howard Shore music? by the way when are we going to hear The Last Goodbye?

On Amazon. Have you not heard it?

The music in the trailer is "Dust and Light" by Twelve Titans.

Has nothing to do with Shore or Billy Boyd.

It has not been announced when the song will have its full premiere.

"I am afraid it is only too likely to be true what you say about the critics and the public. I am dreading the publication for it will be impossible not to mind what is said. I have exposed my heart to be shot at." J.R.R. Tolkien

We all have our hearts and minds one way or another invested in these books and movies. So we all mind and should show the necessary respect.

Piano [In reply to] Can't Post

No, I don't think that piano at the beginning of the trailer is part of The Last Goodbye. I could be wrong, but it sounded like it specifically went with the music in the rest of the trailer, and that, IMO is much too dramatic and strong to be The Last Goodbye. IMO, The Last Goodbye will likely be much softer and more gently emotional than that.

I'm pretty sure the trailer music is just action music by Howard Shore, but I do hope we hear it in the movie itself because I love it! Heart

Re when will we hear The Last Goodbye?: I See Fire by Ed Sheeran was released on Nov. 5th last year. We're already past that date so IMO it'll be awhile before we hear The Last Goodbye. Given how WB is being so withholding of information this time around, we may have to wait until the soundtrack comes out or maybe even until the movie itself comes out. Whichever comes first.

"Home is behind the world ahead
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadow to the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight.

Mist and shadow
Cloud and shade
All shall fade
All shall fade"

The music has nothing to do with Howard Shore, it's written by a company that makes trailer music for... Trailers!
