Tauriel looks good here, but that's not where my focus went. I see Sigrid cradling Tilda, and furthermore I see Oin's hand on Fili's shoulder as he's ducking down- perhaps they see Smaug coming and are hunkering down? I like that Oin appears to be protecting Fili, just like Sigrid seems to be protecting Tilda Though I'd definitely prefer a wider shot (aka seeing the other two dwarves and Bain). Nice nod to Fili's lineage, AND to the fact that Oin is a distant cousin, plus I have a feeling he's known the pair their whole lives I am intrigued to learn more about this particular shot for sure!

Thank you for posting and while Tauriel may not be a dwarf - that's beautiful. They should have had that shot for her poster...wow.

She probably looks up to Smaug ?!

Nice to finally have a new Tauriel pic! It looks like she's still in an unburnt Laketown with Bard's kids and Kili, Fili, Oin and Bofur. And apparently it's really, really windy. (wind from a dragon's wings perhaps? ) I guess that means this is from pretty early on in the movie! Gaaaah, I want the trailer now!

She looks stunning. I also think she's looking up at Bard on the rooftops and thinking, "Damnit, if only I had met you first!" ;)

The head is too big. If you check another reply you'll see the pic with a wider angle, and that's definitely Kili, maybe sheltering Sigrid?
Why yes, I DO look like Anna Friel!

her hair looks so natural here. In some shots I've thought the hairline of the wig looks a bit stiff, artificial. But in this photo, not only is her face absolutely stunning, but the hair, hairline and all, looks so completely natural. Wow, a lovely, lovely photo. My fave of Tauriel so far!

the hairline is all wrong for her pretty face. It actually makes her look less attractive than in real life. I like the colour and the length, but its very odd round her forehead.
