Hi all! I was just wondering if anyone could confirm if the lawsuit (I think originating from Chris Tolkien) could either stop or hinder the Hobbit movie? Anyone? Cet

Voronwe the Faithful had been kind enough to share his expertise on the matter with us. Look for a post on the Home Page today with many more details, and welcome to the boards!

Cool then! I was kind of worried that it could mess up the whole thing. I really want to see the Hobbit made into a movie (I guess I'm not the only one). :-) Cet

Thank you for the greetings! My nickname comes from a Belgium comic book serie called Asterix. Cetautomatix is the blacksmith of the village. His name really means: it's automatic. :-)

Okay, good. Alright. I'm really, really glad that nothing can stop the upcoming 2 movies from happening! Fantastic! The movies are gonna be fabolous. And I can't wait for that post, on the web site, too.
There will be 2 movies and 2 awesome Epic Battles, in each of them! And I am not a bad guy. But I do like some of the Uruk-hai and Orcs.

Mae Govannen (welcome)! What Altaira said. And for what it's worth.... I can't believe I didn't know this before, but I just found out that apparently I share a birthday with Christopher Tolkien (Nov 21.) Ah, I understand the old gent and his quirky rep a LOT better now..this explains SO much .

is probably a better word. You'll never get a lawyer to commit a straight yes or no answer to a question like that.

Actually, the quote was "Go not to the Elves for counsel, for they will say both no and yes." See, it takes some doing to be Great. But I can't help myself.

Well, it was quoted from memory, as I hadn't my book with me, so I wasn't 100% sure about the wording, but you get the meaning anyway. Thanks for the correction!
