James McAvoy Interview Can't Post

Just a tiny bit about the Hobbit, most of the interview is about his upcoming film "Wanted", which actually looks pretty cool. At least it shows that he's actually following what's being said about the movie.

Q: Can you confirm or deny The Hobbit?
JM: I can completely deny it. It just seems to have all been rumors.
Q: Nobody talked to you?
JM: No, not at all. Neither Peter Jackson nor Guillermo Del Toro have got in contact.
Q: Would you want to play Bilbo?
JM: I think I'd need to see the script first. From what I hear them saying, they don't even have a script. So you'd have to see if you're right for the part, although I'm sure if I was wrong for the part, they wouldn't even bother asking so who knows. We'll see.

Please, give us back Glorfindel!!!

McAvoy Situation! [In reply to] Can't Post

James McAvoy has never been contacted about playing Bilbo in The Hobbit that is true. What is also true though is he first choice to play Bilbo in The Hobbit, the rumours were never about him being contacted to play Bilbo. Just that he was first choice to play Bilbo and he probably will be contacted in the future.
