In all honesty, Is Azog the most attractive villain to date in Jacksons tolkien films? Can't Post

WinkEven if he is not the MOST attractive, I must admit he still is good looking enough, considering he is an orc! Imagine if he didn't have any of those scars all over his body. He would literaly look like a buffed up elf. That got me thinking though. Didn't Jackson intend for Azog to be an ancient orc, and not far descended from elves? His design really does show this evidently! (the pale skin, blue eyes, pointy ears, somewhat fair appearance) But on the other hand he does bear that orc traits in him too (Bulky build, Teeth, Nose, Mentality, self harm) But with all this I must admit he still is quite attractive for an orc, and even for a character. I think it is fair to say that he does look a little more sexier, than say Some men we saw throughout the films. The only other villain who has competition with Azog (remember films only) is Saruman. But he is an old man, with a big beard and kind of scruffy looking, so I do think Azog is the best looker Wink
LOL But anyway what are your thoughts?

"And do you really think, Thorin Oakenshield, that Bolg will have the slightest symphony for you? After he watched you hack his fathers hand off, so ruthlessly in Moria. Azogs defeat has brought nothing to you, only refuelled hate of his kin, upon yours"

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose... [In reply to] Can't Post

... I don't really see anything "attractive" about Azog.

Arthur: What manner of man are you that can summon up fire without flint or tinder?
Tim: I... am an enchanter.
Arthur: By what name are you known?
Tim: There are some who call me... 'Tim'...?
Arthur: ...greetings, Tim the Enchanter.

Not that hard... [In reply to] Can't Post

Well, being the most attractive villain isn't that hard when the other major villains either have a bad dental problem, are invisible, or have been turned into a giant flaming eye.

He is up there [In reply to] Can't Post

and probably my favorite orc of the films, but not a lot stand out. Gothmog seems badass, but he really didn't do anything except look ultra scary. Lurtz was a cool baddie too, as is Bolg, but yeah Azog takes the cake and eats it too. He looks like an ancient horror and I'd run from him faster than I would the others, although Gothmog's face gives his entire body a run for his money.

You haven't thought this through. [In reply to] Can't Post

Do you really think he'd be a suitable person to take to a restaurant? With all the shouting? What happens if you get a dirty knife - he'd probably wreck the place. You'd spend most of your date down the cop shop, posting bail. Gollum, on the other hand - at least would give you a conversation, some riddles, and if you got sufficiently drunk, he'd perhaps start to look a bit better.... you'd need to stay drunk, though...

Laugh Dunno, that dude riding the Mumakil's not bad?

to be frankly honest, I never assess characters in these films as 'attractive' or 'unattractive' ....... maybe I'm weird like that Tongue
