I was kinda hoping for a big-ass boar with huge tusks. Not what seems to be a pot-bellied pig
I'm also disappointed that Dain has a hammer, and not his red axe.
Though I guess I'm just nitpicking. I'm sure he will be great when we get to see him in action.

Why is everyone praising this design? IT LOOKS TERRIBLE! The friggin boar is TINY, smaller than Dain himself, and wholly unintimidating....How in the heck is Dain supposed to trample orcs with that little piglet? Please tell me this is some early prototype of concept art and not the final product...

looks amazingly cool both dain and his boar. i think it was rather cool to have a smaller mount looks just as powerful just like dwarves since its bulky etc. And I thought it was cool it wasnt a wild boar but a rather more domesticated piggish mount, probably more reliable

What I find most surprising is the number of dwarves that seem simply duplicated.
Were they elves, that could have been a proof of high-grade discipline, but aren't they dwarves ??
Everywhere the same shield, the same way to hold it...
Are the thirteen of the Unexpected Journey the only stand-alone dwarves out of all their kin ?
Some job here still to be done apparently.

That's a big boar with TUSKS and hump and tho my only experience with big pigs is at fairs, not something I would want to
be savaged by, personally (not that I don't love animals and know pigs are supposed to be highly intelligent!)
Maybe those who know these animals can weigh in, but
