Countdown game! Can't Post

Ok, less than 24 hours to go (sorry life has left me unable to keep up with our lovely countdown game- I became an auntie on September 26th, and we've been quite busy as a result Evil).

Now that the heat is on, so to speak.....I want to have some fun with this Tongue

So, here are your questions:

1. What "special thing" are you going to be bringing/wearing/toting to the BO5A EE showing? Perhaps a favorite blanket, your stuffed hippo that you slept with as a kid until your mom lamented that the "cat dragged it through a puddle, slush, sent it through Mt. Doom, and this is what's left", a box of kleenexes, a giant bag of popcorn that you're going to/have your lady friend stuff in her shirt to make them thing you're pregnant so you get free popcorn (yes, this happened to my friend when she was dating her now-husband- she was ticked but they still got married)?

2. Are you going in costume? If money were no object, how would you be dressed if you were/would like to?

3. If you despise the Legolas rock skipping scene, are you going to listen to Super Mario bros theme music while watching said clip on youtube before you go so you laugh hysterically at a "serious" moment supposedly dedicated to "hero's peril"? (that makes that scene 1,000 times funnier for me after seeing that! Angelic)

4. And lastly....despite liking it or hating it, are you still going to relish this last time you see Middle-earth on the big screen in the foreseeable future?

Ok, that last one was serious Evil Still, I hope you all have fun with the other three questions, and I hope to join in heart if not in person the rest of my TORnsibs as we sit down to watch the last ME EE we may get in our lifetimes on the big screen- how it was meant to be seen.

Countdown is on folks- according to my time zone, we are at 22 hours and 21 minutes to go! Cool

my answers [In reply to] Can't Post

1- I'm wearing a Thorin's Company tshirt I designed and drew and got printed.

2- If I could, I would go as Bilbo in his Laketown outfit.

4- Hm... I was 11-13 when LOTR came out in theaters, so I can't say I "relished" that. I liked it, thought it was good, but overall don't remember much of the experience. I saw AUJ in theaters, but for some reason skipped out on DOS (which I heavily regret, seeing BOFA in theaters with a packed house 3 times was great. Some of the theater fun comes from the audience). So... I guess I will relish this? I've got a much bigger emotional attachment to The Hobbit movies than LOTR, in terms of the characters, story, and world, so I guess I will.

Hm... [In reply to] Can't Post

1. I can't think of anything "special". So no.

2. I would love to but no. I would love to be either dressed up as Bilbo or Dwalin.

3. Maybe, that sounds hilarious.

4. Yes, of course. One Last Time

Questions and answers [In reply to] Can't Post

1. What "special thing" are you going to be bringing/wearing/toting to the BO5A EE showing? I bought a Dragon earcuff to wear for DOS, so probably that. Maybe my green "Elven" jacket, but it's a little warm today, so maybe not.
2. Are you going in costume? If money were no object, how would you be dressed if you were/would like to? Probably not beyond the first answer, BUT I did buy a red wig & some pointy ears to make a Halloween costume - don't judge me!
Angelic) Well no, probably don't have time. I want to be there early, just in case there's a line. However, someone (can't remember who) suggested turning the volume down and playing either "Chariots of Fire" or the "Batman" theme, and someday I will give that a try. Nanananananananananananananananana LEGOLAS!!!
4. And lastly....despite liking it or hating it, are you still going to relish this last time you see Middle-earth on the big screen in the foreseeable future? Well I certainly don't hate it, and yes, I'm going to relish every minute - even with my hubby sitting next to me probably making tacky comments about "how many times have you seen this?" The answer is "this is the FIRST time, shut up!"
