I believe that book Bolg has bodyguards of some sort. Given the crazy variety found in the BoFA, I think it's likely that they'll be represented. Perhaps as trolls? Side question, all this crap was hiding in Dol Guldur?! Or were more allies picked up along the way to Erebor? I'm guessing ther will be at least one "evil army gathering" scene.

As I mentioned a lot of times before...

... I'd like to see Azog giving a speech in Goblintown gathering and animating the Goblins. Perhaps even include the "revenge for the Goblin Kings death" element from the book... which is why the Goblins leave for Erebor in the first place. I also want to see Mount Gundabad. It was mentioned a couple of times now... so it would make sense to show it. Yeah Dol Guldur is the center of evil in this movies but I'd like to see some new places in BOTFA as well. In the end I don't believe that the army walks straight to Erebor. That would be to fast and I don't believe that all these creatures were hidden in Dol Guldurs dungeons. It's more likely to see the Orcs preparing for war. Since there's a track on the tracklist for BOTFA named "Bred for War" I hope this is a scene where we see Azog and Bolg with their army preparing for the attack... perhaps even seeing some creatures and Orcs get their armor just like the scenes in FOTR and TTT in Isengards caverns.

... seems to indicate there will be some sort of focus on the evil army. Maybe we'll see some sort of gathering. PJ mentioned that the "panzer tanks" were bred by the orcs, so perhaps there'll be some introduction of them. I wouldn't be surprised if Azog/Bolg's bodyguards are present, and they'll probably be spectacular. My guess would be orcs and/or armored trolls wielding heavy weaponry.
Now now Bill, you swore this was a battle between warriors, not a bunch of miss nancies, so warriors is what I brought

Perhaps a chance for Conan Stevens to return?

Perhaps there are a few battle scenes filmed with the original Conan Stevens Bolg costume? Would be great to see him at least in a few shots. I remember that they changed some of the original "Bolg" merchandise to "Gundabad General". Who knows... perhaps Conan Stevens returns as "Gundabad Bodyguard" for the final movie?

They managed to include a former Azog costume in AUJ and transformed it into a completely new character (Yazneg) so why don't use some of the Conan Stevens fight sequences? I'm pretty sure there are several scenes of Conan Stevens Bolg fighting in the Battle of the Five Armies. Since they obviously shot the Thorin vs Azog scenes during the pick ups it would make it possible to use the Conan Stevens scenes for a fighting Gundabad General right? I think to doesn't have to be a new hero Orc with a name although this would be great since all other secondary hero Orcs died in AUJ (Yazneg, Goblin King, Grinnah) or DOS (Narzug, Fimbul)... I'd like to see the Gundabad General in a couple of fight scenes. To thank Conan Stevens and also to honor a great old school Orc prosthetic/costume made by WETA.

... even though I find it hard to imagine Azog or Bolg looking like that now. Let's just hope they'll find some further use for it and that Conan Stevens finally gets some credit!

And Gundabad particularly so. I think the Orc army from DG fulfils all the necessary briefs for the Orc army that needs to turn up at Erebor. I suspect side trips would be rather superfluous.
