Beorn's chains Can't Post

Beorn has chains on his wrists from the torture he endured from Azog. Apparently, all the Beornings had to endure this. Why is he still wearing them? I would think they couldn't fit his bear wrists (as opposed to his bare wrists)

Maybe he keeps them to remind him of the pain he had to endure and what his people went through.

They're a reminder. If Beorn couldn't get those things off his wrist intentionally, no one could. They're not magical. The only logical explanation is that he wears it on purpose.
