this is my newest piece of Tokien art, 2006 its done in watercolor those of you who know me know its pretty unusual for me to do a landscape ( I love doing people) but honestly Bag End has so much history it almost felt like doing a portrait :)

Sorry, in your little avatar it looked like a frog with the door being the eye. Nice soft nostalgic feel to the image and I'm glad you left out the tree on top. This never sat right with me. How can you possibly biuld a house under the roots of a massive tree?

Yes, that is the word I would call it - dreamlike. I see more shade and more cliffs - and the back of the hill looks like it drops off a cliff. However, the colors are nice, and the foreground is nice - it's just that the background seems a little too out-of-focus...

I want to try and draw the Grey Havens scene but I just havent the talent (as looking from the book and not the film). This is amazing, though -e_H-
Elven by name, Hobbit by nature 'Road lead ever on and on down from the door where it began now far ahead the road has gone down from where all began' -FOTR- and through all the world has changed the ages come and go with time and yet those remain unchanged unto they journey westward over the sea...
