Sneek Peek at my story

Can't Post

Well, just like any other LOTR fan I have come to write my own story. Still in the works, I have finished the first 5 chapters and will be posting it for the public for the first time hopfully within the next week. I'm not going to reveal too much as you'll just have to read it for yourselves . It takes place 30 years after the War of the Ring and tells the story of a young woman of Gondor who goes on a quest to save the life of her beloved brother and reclaim a long lost friendship with an old familiar friend. On the way she'll test her knowledge, strength, and courage as she battles, fearsome foes as well as her own internal fears to find her true place in Middle Earth. HOWEVER, here is a little taste of the story. One of my own drawings of the sword of our young protagonst. Inspired by a well known image, I couldn't help but use it as it just screamed "sword" to me! I hope you all like it. Also expect to see the illustrations for the story by none other than our own TORNsib Anorien! She's already shown me some sketches and you're all in for a treat! I can't wait to post my story publicly so you all can read it. For now, enjoy!! http://i274.photobucket.com/...lmommy/HeveSword.jpg

I really like it! It's different and you don't see that everyday
"You wonder what his name is, where he came from. And if he really was evil at heart. What lies or threats led him on this long march from home. And if he would rather have stayed there... in peace." Faramir in The Two Towers

Fan fiction is a joy to write, isn't it? I have something in the works that's over 100 pages long and still going strong. And that sword is magnificent. Never thought to use that design for it, but I feel silly now for not thinking of it ;)
