Ive started doing some more Hobbit residences ...
These two have a caption and will be probabbly in my footer, but I thought i'd put them here first ...  Enjoy ...
The Shire Reckoning News Headlines
"A Shadow and a Threat"
Legal Update of last Novembers preceedings ... :
Shire resident Lobelia Sackville-Baggins complaint against new resident Amy Winehouse was heard in court today. Ms Sackville-Baggins told Judge Wiggenhoof that she felt a "shadow and a threat growing in the neighbourhood" which was not only unnerving, but was effecting her pertunias.
The proceeding have been locked in a raging debate for over 6 months until finally today there was a breakthrough reported ....
Both Lobelia and the case were thrown out of Court due to
Autumn.

Well-drawn. Is the door open, or is it inset into a tunnel into the hill? Also, the tree seems a little far forward (it reminds me of the Hildebrandt painting that implies that all of Bag End must be tree roots). But I like it!
Once a paleontologist, now a botanist, will be a paleobotanist

Yep, the door on this series of Hobbit Homes is open ... Im not a great perspective drawer ... and even the tree could be a little further forward to hold up that Bee-Hive Hedge ... I wasnt going to do the second drawing, but something said yeah, do it! ... and add my warped sense of humour to it

I like black and white as well
So as I dont loose the originals of these, all the drawings are done in black on white - then once thats done and completed, I make a copy and then do the colour ... My avatar and my footer are one of the same Hobbit hole without the colour ... Ive done the same for the Amy Winehouse pic as well - so I have a balck and white Original of both as well as the colour ones

Beautiful pictures, Elven! They look great. I'm very impressed - as I'm rather hopeless with a drawing stick, I admire everyone who can draw so well!
