Hi all.... never got into this section, but I'm glad it is here....
Want to share with you the fan art that we made here at home two years ago, it's the entrance gate of our house (your house), my husband and mine... we are located in Monterrey, México, where we live...
I made the design, and my husband personally worked with the blacksmith to make this "dream" a reality, and we are proud of it....
This is the first of our fan art to make our home a little tribute to Tolkien's work of whom we are huge fans....
we are already on plans to make a fountain with an Argonath on each side of it in our garden, our friends already called the house "Rivendell",
because sometimes is a refuge also for them, heheheehe...
the inscription is not the Black Speech, it's our names, in elvish... I studied Sindarin to make them and made the design since we marry, it was the entire image of the wedding... :) The flower, well, you might know it, it's the Lorien flower of the ring Nenya.

I've wanted to do the Moria arch for my home and there are nine walking pavestones to my house I wanted to decorate each for one of the Nine Walkers. Now that I may well lose the house in the next few months it's a bit sad, but until it's gone one never knows. I also have a forest green door with a shiny yellow doorknob - though NOT in the middle and it isn't round. <chuckle>
