Beautiful work, fitzbellatrix. There's nothing wrong with drawing scenes from the movie - it takes a lot of talent to do it as well as you. The other picture is lovely too: so much emotion on the character's face. Nice!
Koru: Maori symbol representing a fern frond as it opens. The koru reaches towards the light, striving for perfection, encouraging new, positive beginnings.

Thanks! The Frodo and Galadriel one is actually quite huge and I drew it from a really tiny photo. I don't know I pulled it off. And I really wasn't trying to make Arwen look anything like Liv Tyler, but somehow she did anyway. I think I was basing it off of my own face actually (though my face does look a bit different).

- Very well indeed. Beautiful work - thanks for showing us. I think the Galadriel and Frodo might have benefited from being inspired by a "tiny photo" - it's not a simple drawing of a photo. There's more of you in there - and it's lovely.

I really love the Frodo and Galadriel one. The Arwen one is gorgeous; I do also like it when artists come up with portraits of their very own. Cheers!

And it's great practice to learn the human face, and how to do lighting and shadows. I still enjoy doing it. They look good ^^
