Spider Silk [In reply to] Can't Post

Thank you, Mariarosa, for your kind words (a warm welcome to the forums!) There are so many ways to envision the scene; I always have wondered if perhaps Frodo might have glimpsed something of Sam's battle. I wish we had heard Sam tell him of it! (modestly, no doubt)

Elven by name, Hobbit by nature

'Road lead ever on and on
down from the door where it began
now far ahead the road has gone
down from where all began' -FOTR-

and through all the world has changed
the ages come and go with time
and yet those remain unchanged
unto they journey westward
over the sea...

Hee! So he could - and being one might have served him well when he lifted the Phial against the darkness!

Thank you for your kind words; the drawing flowed impressionistically in the making, too. Sometimes they do.

Just... brilliant [In reply to] Can't Post

Hey Nota,

Frodo looks awesome! Very emotional and so much like I imagined him while reading LOTR.
Did a great job. Smile

Oh and can anyone tell me how to upload an image? Angelic
I guess I've really got no idea how it works...

I agree with Colarie: nice, strong emotion. And a wonderful sense of movement in the lines of the silk. Good work!

Yes, very well done [In reply to] Can't Post

I agree with the others. Frodo does look... chubby... but he's a Hobbit! Wink

Nice expression, nice movement, nice coloration. I'm not sure if he should be redder, though.
