Hello everyone my name is nelson forero Im new to the forums I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan my first submission is a recreation of a scene from The Return of the king in which Faramir son of Denethor tries to retake the city of osgiliath. I really like your re-creation. It has quite an comic book style. I don't think I've seen any LOTR pictures like this before! Are you professional? If I may offer some constructive critism, Faramir's horse seems to be slightly out of proportion. I've been drawing for years and I know how difficult it can be to get proportion and perspective right.

hello there and thank you for commenting. I am not working proffesionally but I have done work for a few indipendent publishers. I do aggree with you on the proportion issues. this drawing proved to be very difficult for me. drawing horses is no easy task lol.but I do like to challange myself thats how we learn.overall I was very pleased with this drawing and im a bit more comfortable with drawing horses now. thanks again.

I like your style. Reminds me of Medieval Art styles in some way. Quite fitting. Keep up the good work!

I particularly like the stylized use of black/white/contrast. The pitch-black mountain range in the background gives it an appropriately foreboding feeling. I'm surprised to read you are not a professional? Very nice work!
