Hi everyone, I hope this is a good place for this post; sorry if it isn't! :)
I had an idea for making a Silmarillion animated film...and I was impatient so I learned animation and made a little trailer myself. It has no plot or narration; but I wanted to make something that might inspire someone (or myself) to take one of the many possible storylines from the Sil and make it into a short of full film. But there are some Copyright issues with the Sil.
Too bad too, it would make for an awsone film, or films.

Yes, I know the legal issues are a nightmare; it would have to be totally non-commercial (if even that would be okay).

That is a lovely piece, I hope you keep working on it! And how amazing that you learned animation in order to do it! You have a good film drama sensibility and the choice of music really works with your visuals.
