UK Convention 2008 Can't Post

Greetings all,

Am new to these boards so "Hi" first of all Smile

Im planning a signing convention in June 7th and 8th next year in North Wales, UK and its going to be varied in terms of guests from all walks of life; film, music, sports, art, etc and all sub genres within. Weve already confirmed our first guest in the form of a small film actor, but I really want some LOTR guests to attend, thing is I want to know who you would like to meet out there.

Would you want film actors? Artists? Musicians? Stage actors?

Your input is greatly appreciated Heart

Thanks,

Jaime

Howdy and Welcome! [In reply to] Can't Post

Oh wow... I wish I lived in the UK so I could go to your Moot! I've been to several and have enjoyed authors and artists of Tolkien's works as well as costume-makers (how-to make costumes of various themes), calligraphers, fanfiction and fan artwork displays, etc. If you can find the agents of actors from the films to request their participation, that would definitely be a plus... but I have no idea how to go about doing something like that.

A company called "Creations" has put together conventions... and there are SO many others that you can access online to see what they offered in their gatherings.

Best of luck... and, again, Welcome :)

eek! [In reply to] Can't Post

OOOOMG I would so love to go. That would be awesome. Especially considering I can't go on the cruise. I wouldn't mind who came or what. I've always dreamed of performing the LOTR dance series I made up with my friends for some of the cast and crew of Lord of the Rings.

The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.
