My first Moot Can't Post

Yay, I finally had my first Moot and it was great. Hobbitlove and Ordinaryhobbit invited me for tea. They are just the nicest, coolest people. We had good conversation and ate lots. It felt like I had known them my entire life. I am looking forward to our next Moot and maybe meeting more Minnesota sibs....
If you ever get a chance to Moot, I highly recommend it. It was a wonderful experience!
Cheers to you D and H!!!!

Ach, I had business elsewhere [In reply to] Can't Post

I really thought I could make this moot since I rarely have things happening on the weekends. But ti turned out this weekend was a winter Morris (English folkdance) dance event scheduled by my English Longsword team. We usually dance once a year (with practices) and it turns out to be the same weekend as the moot! I was really disappointed to realize this.

I'm sorry we didn't meet up but I know it's only a matter of time. And you're right, the Hob folk are like old friends from moment one, aren't they?

Sorry I missed it. [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm sure you had a great time, with good company! I had a dress rehearsal for our concert that night. The concert was scheduled for Sunday night, but we had to cancel it because of the terrible weather. :( Such a shame since we were unable to reschedule it, because getting 75 people all together again at this time of year is terribly difficult, particularly for the soloists.

I very much enjoyed my moot this summer with Hobbitlove, Ordinaryhobbit and Magpie. I honestly felt as though I had known them for years. It would have been fun for us all to meet each other on Saturday though. I'm fairly confident that it will happen at some point. :)

Having a chance to Moot is always worth it and should never be missed. Hob and I have been very lucky to meet several sibs and it has always been great fun. I've a feeling we'll be seeing you again very soon.

You were missed [In reply to] Can't Post

It's always great to see you. Hope you had fun with the dancing. I once worked with a Children's Librarian who would practice here Sword Dance in the back circulation work area, it was great fun.

Sorry you couldn't make it [In reply to] Can't Post

It was great meeting you this past summer. Bummer about having the concert cancelled. I know there is a lot of work that goes into those. Quite awhile back we belonged to a Community Band and I remember all of the practice and prep it takes to be ready.
Well here's to future Mooting, may it happen sooner than later.
