Thine plate is full!! [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm thoroughly in awe of your organizational skills! Clipping right along :D Getting in your walks is absolutely a priority!

Pause and get those taxes done so you'll hopefully have some fundage to put into your upcoming trips. Plus, that noise in the back of your brain will quiet down ;)

"Go when green!" [In reply to] Can't Post

"Green-age" :) You poked my "Twister" flashbacks! I'm glad you have enough of the dining-room paint left for your room. My bathroom and one bedroom are painted with a pastel-esque sage green. I really love it!

Bummer that the weather is not cooperating. This past Friday was the first of the past 2 days of good weather... but it's back to the grey and coldy stuff again. *sigh*

I hope you have a great weekend with the prepping. WELL DONE on your massive progress over the winter :D Truly a rewarding payoff for years to come!

Ahhh.... down time coming :D [In reply to] Can't Post

Oh yeah. It figures the colder weather would try to move in; but getting in some bike rides and time outside of any kind is a great idea :D

I hope you have some fun plans for your long weekends. Even if it's just hanging out at home with some good food, good flicks, and good books! *high five*

What a great picture! [In reply to] Can't Post

Oh wow! There's this year's Christmas Card ;) What a beautiful park! The korimako has a deep voice, but not aggressive at all. Wonderful :) I was playing the various songs/sounds, and my Pickle ran to look out the window! ;)

I hope you have more of that gorgeous weather!

Transitions... [In reply to] Can't Post

In weather, jobs, and... shall we say... changes in various climates! I hope you have at least a few more days of the better weather.

Good luck on the job hunt! My eldest is going through the same thing :(

Yeah. It gets dicey. [In reply to] Can't Post

Now would be the perfect time for trees to practice taking "strides" to move into your yard :D Mrs. Dweller would have a smile that never melts!

Like cleaning a cluttered room [In reply to] Can't Post

Purging words from a large draft is like doing cleaning. Not that I'd ever be accused of being that effective ;)

I hope you have a fabulous week that promises a few more goodly days!

Bummer on the Freezer! [In reply to] Can't Post

I hope you didn't have any food spoilage! And I hope you had some good and gentle rain. The plants will definitely be grateful!

Sounds pretty dry [In reply to] Can't Post

Been there, done that, with the hose. Only ours is usually in the middle of a non-snowy winter. At least you can concentrate moisture exactly where it's needed.

I can't believe a fridge/freezer that was that 'new' kicked the bucket. Maybe a repair or two, but a total replacement must have been disappointing to say the least. May the new one last way longer!

Happy (and hopefully rainier) week! Smile

Half done! [In reply to] Can't Post

The prep always takes longer than I think it will, and there's five door frames to paint around (the other rooms didn't have clothes and storage closets). I'm saving the worst for last: the wall with the 6' high bookcase, which is loaded with history books - we'll have to pull out and dust every book in it before pulling it away from the wall and giving it a good cleaning. But it needs it!

This has been a real Spring Cleaning this year! Laugh

Only a bottle of milk... [In reply to] Can't Post

When you go to put a dash of milk in your morning cup of tea and it goes ~schglup~ you know you're in trouble! It was actually just the fridge half that stopped working, but it was an all-in-one unit so it all had to be replaced. All is fine now! Unlike the weather, which at long last is bringing us some rain. Phew!

We've had rain today [In reply to] Can't Post

with more to come, thank goodness; there have been a lot of small wildfires in moorland areas (some the result of arson) so everything should be well damped down to reduce the risk now. Seven years doesn't seem long for an appliance to last, but things aren't made as robustly as they used to be. The freezerhalfstillworked but the fridge didn't; it was an all-in-one so the lot had to go. Fingers crossed this one will be better.
