an early crush of mine because of "Man from U.N.C.L.E." and I was delighted to meet up with him again as Duckie in "N.C.I.S." (Something about shows with acronyms?) "Sapphire and Steel" was another favorite, sadly short-lived.

very earliest screen crushes, too, also thanks to "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." - in fact a multi-generational crush in my family! He was memorable, too, much later in an episode of "Babylon Five". A man who gave much screen delight over many years. May he rest in peace.

He'll be missed.
"So which story do you prefer?" "The one with the tiger. That's the better story." "Thank you. And so it goes with God."

came from Dr Who and Sapphire and Steel. RIP Mr McCallum.
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. we made communicators out of cigarette packets, we were really into it. 90 is a good age to reach; he's left a lot of happy memories behind.
