...but the rest of the week is supposed to be above freezing in the daytime, with some sun and very little precipitation. Good for walking around out-of-doors! Our son already has plans for what board games he wants to get them involved in. He won't say, but I'm guessing one is Wyrmspan (like Wingspan, which is getting food to buy birds for different habitats then laying eggs on them, but in this game you lure dragons into caves). Vacuuming is done, just some touch-ups in the morning, they'll arrive on the train after lunch...

around here we call it "sammon," but I've noticed on cooking shows that others get the "l" in there.

pronounces it "sah-mon". I'm probably the only person who puts in a soft "l" sound, like making an "l" but not pressing the tongue against the roof of the mouth. Let no letter go to waste!

we say sammon also. Although some people cook with Herbs and not erbs (my way) In Michigan we drink pop instead of soda I prefer ketchup to catsup I hear "red meat off the bone" to "ripe meat..." and when I lived a long time in Florida, we'd rent a y'all-haul come time to move ;)

Some (but not all) people with the surname Salmon sound the L.
