Ev passe på å nevne Hengist i hver setning for å straffe han for unødvendig bruk av smilefjes? What did he do to get his own day? St Olaf picked out peoples eyes with a horn spoon. I think that's sounds pretty disgusting.

Happy day to you too, Hengist. March came in like a snow leopard here; snowed all yesterday and most of the night. Now it's sunny and hailing at the same time.

cold and dry today and all the plants are eally confused about what time of year it is . if I do this for St Davids Day guess I'll have to go a bit further for Englands patron saint

above the Auckland Harbour Bridge, alongside the New Zealand flag, to commemorate the day. Actually that was yesterday, as we live in the future here :-) Happy St David's Day to you.

we can celebrate Dydd Dewi Sant ar hyd y nos as well! (I think that's right...) I went to night school to learn Welsh but I only did a term, then moved house. St. Olaf did that? With a spoon? Eeew... Brings to mind the Sherriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves - 'I'm going to cut his heart out with a spoon'. Sir Guy: 'Why a spoon?' Sherriff: 'Because it's dull, you fool it'll hurt more!' Yes, I have watched that film a few times, in spite of the accents and dire geography... Sorry, I digress. Nos da i chi!

who refused to be baptised. One of the other Olafs (Olaf Tryggvason, king of Norway 995-1000) made a worm crawl into a mans nose for the same reason. That one died too.
