This Friday, March 14 is Pi Day, a celebration of the mathematical value of pi (approx. 3.14159). The tradition as evolved to make a point of having pie on this date. My wife plans on baking a cherry pie. Yum!

We're planning to eat dinner at a family restaurant whose motto is, "Life is Short, Eat Pie" - and all of theirs are home-made by one lady. She makes a dozen kinds. Her key lime is light and melts in your mouth...her chocolate-peanut butter is super thick and yes, sticks to the roof of your mouth..and her S'mores is absolutely decadent.
