A Tolkien nut obviously!
Loves watching a good film (I'm a massive film fan), reading a good book, or drinking a good pint (or three) of Guiness.
Military history and triva.
First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
When I was about 14 I saved up some pocket money and bought the book (having first been weaned on the film trilogy)...and haven't looked back since. Enthralled, blown away and excited all at once it rapidly became my favaourite book and introduced me to the genius that was Tokien.
Although the Trilogy still holds a special place in my heart, it dosen't come close to the book.
So I guess I should thank Peter Jackson, he got me interested in movies and reading-my two main pursuits
Favorite Tolkien character:
Cirdan the Shipwright: Brave, loyal, wise and an intriguing enigma the way I feel about him can only be properly explained in a very long blog post:
