Just LotR Hobbit & Tolkien. What else, precioussssss?
First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
It was amazing. Couldn't put it down especially at the end of Two Towers. And yes, i've been falling in love over and over with the books and movies ever since reading and re-watching them in the end of 2002. I am a late fan into Tolkien's world and was introduced through the movies but i have read almost everything by Tolkien ever since '03. I would love to branch out in obsessing over Tolkien's scholarly works too and also his linguistic basis for creating such an imaginative beautiful world of Middle-earth.
Favorite Tolkien character:
Frodo and Sam because they're really the heart and soul of story. Their struggle to Mount Doom to achieve the impossible just tugs at all my heart strings and the loyalty, dedication, resilience and determination they display is beyond... incredible. Who cannot love them?
Faramir has also been my fave lately. I just think he's so courageous, romantic, discerning and wise.
In Silmarillion, my fave characters are Beleg Cuthalion, Fingolfin, Luthien, Beren and Huan. :) Intriguing characters: Maeglin, Maglor and Turin
