Lord of the Rings (duh!!!), Ultimate Frisbee, Piano, Politics, Religion, medieval weaponry, a lot of fantasy and sci-fi stuff.
First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
Age 10. I'd wake up early and Mom would read LOTR for about 20 minutes before school. She did the best voices (especially Treebeard) and really got me into the stories. Re-fell in love with LOTR about age 14, once I finally saw all the movies.
Favorite Tolkien character:
Oh so many good ones, it's hard to say. If I was using both movie and book versions as a guide, I'd say Faramir. He's sensitive, yet a warrior at the sametime. Strong yet gentle. Utterly heroic in that he resists evil and does the right thing. I've also been compared to him at times, so I guess I relate to him more than some others.
