First Lord of the Rings reading experience: I was looking around one day thinking how nice it would be to find a new book, one filled with adventure to enjoy for years to come. Howard Shore's beautiful score compelled my desire to read that long book I had found on the old bookshelf, and it was even more fun when listening to his music in the films for the first time.
Favorite Tolkien character: Frodo, for his admirable courage and ability to conquer his fear in order to protect what he loves. Sam, for his loyalty to Frodo through fear, discouragement, hunger, and exasperation, even through the bitterness of Mordor and up the scorched slopes of Mount Doom. The Moth, for obvious reasons.
Less Filling or Tastes Great: Tastes Great
Elves and Dragons or Cabbages and Potatoes: Elves and Dragons
