First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
I had seen a booked set of LotR up high on a bookshelf in my home for a long time and finally, when I was around 12 years old, decided to take it down and read it. I must have liked it immediately because I saw the word "Tolkien" in one of those book-orders you get in grade-school, and therefore I automatically bought the book (it was the Silmarillion).
Favorite Tolkien character:
I'm not about to chose any one character, too hard.
