First Lord of the Rings reading experience: I read LotR when I was six years old in the mid-90's and it's been my favorite book ever since :D At the time I was living just a couple streets away from Tolkien's old house on Northmoor as well, which was exciting. And I still remember speeding through the last chapters of "The Two Towers", snatching up "The Return of the King", and then being really disappointed that the story continued with Pippin and Gandalf on Shadowfax instead of saying what happened to Frodo and Sam! Once I met Denethor however all was forgiven ;)
