First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
I grew up reading the Hobbit, just like other kids grow up reading Harry Potter. I was ten when I first read LOTR, and I was instantly obsessed. It was all I could talk about for weeks on end.
Funny story: before I read LOTR, I used to look at the book covers and wonder what they were about. Because they were the movie covers(you know, the ones with the Towers on each one) I thought that LOTR was about a red planet with a red tower and these people in black clothes that rode horses and screamed at you. And then of course I read LOTR and found out that it was nothing of the kind.
Favorite Tolkien character:
