First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
First read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings in 2000-2001 when I started seeing previews of the movies. Just *had* to find out what it was all about. Here we are all these years later, and I'm still an addicted fan!
Favorite Tolkien character:
Samwise Gamgee, Samwise the Brave! He's my all-time, hands-down, no-contest, #1 favorite Tolkien character. He's simple, but he's truly loyal, honest, and courageous. He's the best friend a person could ever hope for. You don't find people like that anymore.
