TRAVEL - we were supposed to go to New Zealand in 2020...but we know how that turned out!
2022 - our 45th anniversary trip to Europe later this year...but...Mordor attacked from the east...so we didn't know last winter how this plan will turn out. It turned out fine - we took the Viking Grand European trip in May at a time when the weather was perfect and the rivers were all high enough. We spent extra days in Budapest, Amsterdam and Brussels.
Actually been on TORN, on and off, since about 2000 or 2001. Was at The Return of The One Party on that epic night in early 2004. Have also met up with TORN folks in Indianapolis and Pittsburgh in 2005.
First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
While on a bus tour of colleges in April 1975. Will always associate New Jersey's refineries with Mordor.
Favorite Tolkien character:
Tie between Eowyn & Frodo. Both are brave and determined.
