Date of Birth: 1987-11-04

Interests: Anything Lord of the Rings related, reading, writing, computering, making music with the sexiest instrument ever invented (cello), watching movies, asian food, felines, chocolate, playing dress-up with creative costumes, walking barefoot on warm sidewalks, and singing loudly and badly to silly music when I think nobody is nearby.
First Lord of the Rings reading experience: I was twelve years old, searching for a evasive good book to read at a bookstore in Virginia. My dear old Dad (I love him for this) suggested a book called The Lord of the Rings, by some British guy. He'd read and enjoyed it in college. I thought I'd give it a chance... after six rereads, an entertaing movie trilogy, and a Tolkien-inspired call to study English in college, I'm extremely glad I took his recommendation.
Favorite Tolkien character: Samwise Gamgee. A long time ago, I read Quickbeam's article in the Green Books on this site about how Sam is the true hero of the trilogy. I agree with every word he said. "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you and it as well." Samwise Gamgee
