First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
My Grade Four teacher read the Hobbit to our class throughout the school year. And he started the Fellowship of the Ring at the year's end. He did it under protest, as he pleaded with us to not start the trilogy knowing he would not get very far into the book before the school year ended. We begged and begged for him to start the FotR. So he did and didn't get very far. I picked up an old set of books from my grandmother that summer and read the entire Lord of the Rings. From that year on, I have been completely engrossed in Tolkien's Middle Earth.
Favorite Tolkien character:
Bilbo Baggins. Cause he was the first one I read about, and as I grow older, I realize I'm very similar to the old hobbit.
