First Lord of the Rings reading experience: My Grandfather gave me my first copies of LotR and The Hobbit when I was 9 years old. I read The Hobbit and the Trilogy in a few months and I loved it. I was a lover of the books before the movies came out and although I wish that more could have been put in the movies that the books had, (Aka, Glorfindel and the twins) but I think that Jackson did a wonderful job. I only hope that Del Toro does an equally good job on The Hobbit.
Favorite Tolkien character: Oh dear. I'm not sure I can pick my favorite character. Gandalf was always one of my faves. Legolas, before the moves, was also a fave. And yes, I fell in love with his character in the movies as well. I only wish they explored his character more but there was only so much they could do. Anyways, I honestly don't think I can pick! I've loved each character so much, that I don't think I could chose.
Less Filling or Tastes Great: Tastes Great
Elves and Dragons or Cabbages and Potatoes: Elves and Dragons
