Reading and especially reading with my boys and getting lost in our imaginations. I love the outdoors, hiking, and just being with my family.
First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
After reading the Hobbit at age 12, I wanted to know more about Middle Earth. I wasn't introduced to Lord of the Rings until about three years later when I happened across a J.R.R. Tolkien section in my High School Library. I did not know that the tale of the ring continued until that moment. From then on, I have been a dedicated fan of all his works.
Favorite Tolkien character:
It is so hard to choose just one when there are so many wonderful characters Tolkien created.
