was co-founded by 4 people: Xoanon, Corvar, Calisuri (male) and Tehanu (female). There are 40+ volunteer staffers spread over the various areas of the site, both men and women. Here on the message boards we have both men and women as Admins/Mods. The exact mix changes over the years as some mods have "retired" and others have been added. Right now, 2 of our "active" Admins are men. It's not really a factor in who becomes a staffer - when recruiting new staff we care about who has the time, skills, and interest for the job, not their gender.
